2011 Haunted Lagoon Art Contest
Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) is inviting elementary school students to show off their creativity in the annual Haunted Lagoon Art Contest. This contest offers students in kindergarten through sixth grade the chance to win four (4) tickets to the exciting Haunted Lagoon event. Also, one (1) grand prize winner will receive 25 tickets for his or her class. The Art Contest prizes are redeemable at anytime between Sept. 30–Oct. 15. The Polynesian Cultural Center’s Haunted Lagoon event features spooky canoe rides through the center at night. This chilling experience is available starting September 30 through October 31 (we are closed on Sundays). The Haunted Lagoon is not for the faint of heart, so we will be offering milder “keiki canoe rides” for family members of all ages.
Rules
The Haunted Lagoon artwork contest is FREE and open to elementary students from kindergarten to 6th grade only. Each child is allowed to enter one (1) drawing or artwork. A generic artwork sheet is provided to students (attached) in which they can color and add in any additional drawings or creative treatments as they please. The center reserves the right to reject any artwork that is deemed to be inappropriate or in bad taste. Each entry must have the student’s name, grade, contact phone number, school name and teacher’s name. Please be sure to complete the official application form.
